Micro-toppings is a polymer modified overlay materials that are applied ultra thin ( mm thickness ) in three or more coats.

Each coat is applied with a magic trowel or steel trowel or even with a roll - depends on the finish we want - usually over a base coat ( Bondcrete ) which is a little thicker and provides a good bond for the skim coat.

When skim coats are applied in different colors a layering effect is achieved giving a very mottled and unique look. The final finish can be hard steel trowled to leave a burnished finish or a roll finish to give a more uniform color.
